I’m Juls, Mom to a teenage son and a little baby girl. I’m currently a stay at home Mom who loves her fantastic Hubby and kids, along with crocheting. I’m always in the middle of a project of some sort and almost always making something for someone! I love giving people things I’ve made
This here is a picture of me and the Hubby. He is from England so he is extra charming He is the best Husband and Father in the world (IMHO) and I love him to pieces. Simply put: He is my best friend. He is very supportive and always interested in what I’m working on and what I am getting my nose into.
I learned to crochet about a year ago when I was stuck at home, pretty much on bed rest due to a difficult pregnancy. I figured I’d give it a try and started watching YouTube videos as a way to learn. I found such great clips! Especially from Teresa Richardson, a.k.a. the Crochet Geek. She is amazing!
Since then, I’ve been a “Happy Hooker” (Well, for the most part. Once I got past the beginning where I wanted to throw my projects across the room in frustration!)
I guess I’d like this blog to be a compilation of things I’ve made, am in the middle of making, what I want to make, plan to make, my every day life, etc.
Most of my days are spent doting on Baby Girl and taking care of things around the house, but when I get a chance or some free time (what’s that?!?) I like to sneak in a little crocheting. Sometimes it’s only a couple rows or a stitch here and there, but it is THERAPY for me and very CALMING. I also have a wonderfully awesome husband who absolutely loves being a Daddy and has no issues coming home from work and taking over with the baby. That’s when I can really dig in and make cool stuff!
